American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) federal funding for COVID-19 response creates an extraordinary opportunity to address the impacts of the pandemic and build stronger, more equitable communities. In addition to national initiatives, all levels of government within Minnesota are - or will be - the recipients of billions of dollars in funding.
This influx of funding might create anxiety and fear of missing out for nonprofit leaders. Capacity to track funding and/or unclear, decentralized information about potential grant opportunities are cited barriers to the nonprofit community’s ability to understand and access relief and recovery funding.
In this webinar, participants will be provided an overview of: federal ARPA funding and its intended uses; where funds have landed in Minnesota (at the statewide and community level); what plans local governments have for spending their funds; and what opportunities nonprofits may have to partner in recovery efforts.
This workshop is geared toward nonprofit leaders and grant writers who wish to be more well-positioned to partner in advancing the goals of this federal funding.
