The COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted existing inequities and disparities within our communities and further increased gaps for marginalized populations. To help increase awareness, Diversity Council launched a social media campaign called "Pandemic Privilege Check." Conversations regarding privilege, specifically white privilege, have become increasingly important in light of the death of George Floyd. Let's have real conversations about how the COVID-19 outbreak and racial injustices are affecting everyone in our community.
The Greater Minnesota Virtual Networking events are designed to keep us connected across the state. Each of the networking events will have a short presentation (10-20 minutes) along with plenty of time for networking and discussion on the designated topic. Bring your questions and expertise on arts going virtual! With our cameras and microphones on, we can stay connected, learn, and support one another.
