Emily Steinmetz represents the central Minnesota office for the Minnesota Council of Nonprofits, supporting more than 200 nonprofits across the central/west central region of the state. In this role, she fields questions, offers resources, and provides connections while working to bring the mission of MCN to central MN nonprofits.
Emily’s career in nonprofits has spanned over 20 years. Her background is in organizational development, fundraising, strategic planning and stakeholder relationships. She holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Minnesota State University - Moorhead, and an M.B.A. from the University of Lynchburg in Lynchburg, VA. She has volunteered on nonprofit boards and served in volunteer leadership roles at multiple organizations. Emily feels that a healthy and vibrant nonprofit sector directly impacts the health and vibrancy of the communities they serve.
