MCN at the Capitol

Minnesota CapitolThe Minnesota Council of Nonprofits supports individual nonprofits and Minnesota’s nonprofit sector to be their own voice in the public policy process.  We provide training on advocacy and lobbying, serve as a resource to policymakers on the nonprofit sector, and advocate on issues that impact all nonprofits, such as incentives to charitable giving, nonprofit tax exemptions, lobbying rights and election activity rights.

  • Visiting the Minnesota State Capitol Complex

    January 7, 2015 - During the 2015 and 2016 legislative sessions the Minnesota Capitol Complex will be undergoing extensive renovations. The construction project will have an impact on public spaces and movement throughout the Capitol and its surroundings. The information that will guide public use of Capitol space will be changing regularly, as the project moves through its phases.
