Engaging and Connecting the Roomies and the Zoomies Equally

Over the past two years, we’ve all learned a lot about running effective and engaging virtual meetings. But as we contemplate meetings post-pandemic, will we go back to “business as usual?” That is, will we again require that everyone attends in person, or not at all? Organizations can and should consider hosting hybrid meetings – that is, where access to participation is increased by welcoming those who need or want to attend virtually.

Effective hybrid meetings provide equal opportunity for the roomies (those attending in-person) and the zoomies (those attending virtually) to engage in the meeting, connect with other participants, and share their unique viewpoints and expertise. In this session, we’ll explore the technology, psychology, and strategy supporting this goal.

The Bite-Sized Learning events are designed by MCN’s Greater Minnesota team to keep us connected across the state. While the topics are chosen to meet the needs of Greater Minnesota, all are welcome here! Each event will have a short presentation along with plenty of time for networking and discussion on the designated topic. Bring your questions and expertise on the topic! With our cameras and microphones on, we can stay connected, learn, and support one another.

Register for the event on Zoom.
