If you are interested in learning more about fundraising-related nonprofit work, you are invited to join MCN and the Association of Fundraising Professionals - Minnesota Chapter for this free, informal discussion and information sharing group.
Each month focuses on a topic around which the majority of the discussion will revolve. Participants are encouraged to bring questions, examples, and insights related to the topic of the session. In addition to the featured topic discussion, each session will include time to network and ask questions, so come prepared to chat with your peers. This networking event is free and no RSVP is necessary. You are invited to bring your lunch, business cards, and ideas. Fundraising Roundtable Network events will not be livestreamed on Facebook going forward. MCN recently surveyed thousands of nonprofit leaders to better understand what challenges and opportunities are facing the field, and ways in which MCN is or could be strengthening the sector. One of the most commonly cited items were in-person opportunities to build relationships with other nonprofit organizations for peer learning and support. Going forward, MCN will be designing the networking lunches to truly focus on network development.
MCN also heard online and Greater Minnesota learning opportunities are in high demand. Out of a commitment to expand opportunities for nonprofit leaders across the state, each of MCN's six Greater Minnesota regional offices offer regular free networking lunches (connect with your regional coordinator to learn more), and MCN has a great line-up of 2020 e-Learning opportunities.
