Media can amplify advocacy messages to the public or influence key decision makers. Media advocacy is a critical component of advancing issue advocacy. However, working with media can often feel high stakes or intimidating.

Join this training and get ready to feel confident in your interactions with members of the media whether you are pitching a story, throwing a press conference, or answering a call from a journalist.

Participants will learn from and engage with reporters who will share how to make a strong pitch and tips on building relationships with them. Reporters include Dana Ferguson from The Forum, Peter Callaghan from MinnPost, and Cirien Saadeh from The UpTake. This is a perfect opportunity to get some insights to strengthen your media work!
