If you are interested in learning more about communications-related nonprofit work, you are invited to join MCN for this free, informal discussion and information sharing group. Each month focuses on a topic around which the majority of the discussion will revolve.

This networking event is free and no RSVP is necessary. You are invited to bring your lunch, business cards, and questions. If you have any questions about the Communications Roundtable Network, please contact MCN's membership and communications director.

In 2020, the Communications Roundtable Network will experience a renewed focus on the “networking” portion. Instead of having one presenter stand in front of the room and talk to you about a particular topic, each networking session will instead be a guided discussion relying on the experiences, lessons learned, resources discovered, and question of the group. In other words, each of you is a presenter and attendee all rolled into one.

In addition, we will set aside a brief period of time during each Roundtable for attendees to get to know one another. This is your chance to connect with people wrestling with many of the same questions and challenges.

Roundtable Agenda
12 – 12:15 p.m. – Introductions
12:15 - 12:55 p.m. – Guided Discussion
12:55 – 1 p.m. – Closing/Final Questions

TOPIC: Is Social Media Still a Thing?
If you’re not using social media at your nonprofit, you may be missing out on tools to connect with your constituency, donors, and allies. That doesn’t mean that all platforms are worth your time and energy. Let’s talk about the social media tools you’re using for your nonprofit, how you’ve used each successfully, and those you’ve found to not be worth your time.
