You love your job and you do it well. Suddenly you find yourself promoted to manage others. Nonprofits have limited training dollars to help you become an instant supervisor but you now have responsibility for two-six staff members. This workshop gives you some basic principles or skills to help you do your job with more confidence.

Ask any manager or supervisor and he/she will tell you it is critical for you to learn how to communicate, train, supervise, and evaluate the performance of your team members.

This workshop will cover basic supervisory skills including: how to set up metrics for employee performance and evaluation, coach and train employees who report to you, motivate them to achieve organizational goals, and help them master their own strengths and identify their weaknesses to progress and succeed in their own career development.

This workshop will be formatted for open exchange and discussion.
