Annie Harala is the Northeast Minnesota regional coordinator at the Minnesota Council of Nonprofits, based in Duluth. Through this part time position, Annie provides local activities, initiatives, and connections to the resources MCN provides in the Northeast Region of Minnesota.
Annie Harala is an engaged leader in Northeast Minnesota, and has worked in nonprofits, schools, and county government for the last 10 years. Annie has extensive experience working in greater Minnesota’s rural and urban communities in the areas of health policy, youth engagement, community empowerment, and electoral work. She holds a degree in Public Relations with a minor in English from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota. She recently completed a term as an elected At-Large member of the Duluth School Board and serves as an active member on a number of local and statewide boards. Annie is passionate about community leadership and engagement, livable communities, great public education for all students, and enjoying a deep belly laugh at least twice daily.
