Anna is the VISTA Program Coordinator for the Minnesota Council of Nonprofits. They are working to grow the VISTA program while increasing its efficiency and effectiveness. Having completed two summers as a Summer Reads VISTA, they know firsthand the difference a VISTA makes.
Anna is from North Saint Paul and has degrees in music and Spanish from the University of Wisconsin River Falls. She works from the intersection of education, language, and community, and has spent the past few years as a Spanish Immersion Kindergarten teacher and music educator. When they’re not at MCN, you'll find them singing in various churches around the Twin Cities, rock climbing, or searching for the best tacos al pastor in Minnesota.
