Southeast Minnesota

The Minnesota Council of Nonprofits (MCN) maintains regional offices as a means to provide area nonprofits with locally based opportunities to build the sector’s capacity and strengthen its effectiveness. Through its regional presence in Rochester and Southeast Minnesota, MCN amplifies its mission by working to inform, promote, connect and strengthen individual nonprofits and the nonprofit sector.

MCN’s Southeast Minnesota Chapter is comprised of 11-counties including Dodge, Fillmore, Freeborn, Goodhue, Houston, Mower, Olmsted, Rice, Steele, Wabasha and Winona.

An Advisory Committee, made up of representatives from area nonprofits, helps set priorities for programs and projects to be offered in the Southeast Minnesota region, advises the Regional Coordinator on a variety of nonprofit issues and helps to broaden MCN's regional network. Representatives on the committee include area leaders who represent MCN member organizations.

Advisory Committee Roster:
Vicki Allen, Executive Director, Rochester Public Library Foundation
Pat Heydon, Executive Director, Habitat for Humanity of Steele-Waseca Area
Jo Seton, Grantwriting & Communications Coordinator, HOPE Coalition
