Budgeting
Setting a budget for your organization will help you stay on track, measure financial outcomes, and ensure the continued health of your organizations. Budgeting for nonprofits can differ in key ways from for-profit budgeting, in that income from donations may be multi-year commitments, income sources be less stable overall, and fees for service may be priced below market rate making them losses to the bottom line. Large or small, any nonprofit will need to overcome these challenges to create a meaningful budget plan.
