City of Minneapolis Seeking Comments on Minneapolis Working Families Agenda

The City of Minneapolis is seeking comments on the Minneapolis Working Families Agenda, with particular focus on sick time and scheduling reform. This is an opportunity for both employers and employees to weigh in on important policy changes in Minneapolis so that the city council has the information it needs to draft ordinances that are beneficial for all.

You can view the Working Families Agenda proposals here. The Minneapolis city council is seeking feedback and has made it clear that these proposals are only a starting point.

Comments are due by Friday October 16 and can be made by emailing workingfamilies@minneapolismn.gov

If you care to discuss the proposals in general, or share specific ideas with MCN, please feel free to contact Susie Brown, MCN’s public policy director, by October 14. She can be reached at sbrown@minnesotanonprofits.org or 651-757-3060.
