2011 Finalists

The Minnesota Council of Nonprofits and our finalist selection committee is pleased to present our 2011 Nonprofit Mission Awards Finalists in the category of Innovation, Advocacy and Anti-Racism Initiative. Nonprofit organizations make outstanding contributions to Minnesota's high quality of life and MCN's Nonprofit Mission Awards honor these contributions.

We welcome all staff and board members from member organizations to review each finalist's nomination summary and to vote for this year's winner in each category. Winners will be announced at our 2011 Annual Conference, October 6 and 7 at the RiverCentre in Saint Paul.

Please note: Staff and board members of finalist organizations are unable to vote for their own organization's category, but can vote in the other existing categories. Voters will be asked for both their individual ID number and the name of their organization.

Recipients will receive:

  • The honor and distinction of being recognized as a leader among Minnesota's nonprofits
  • A video production capturing the organizations work for which it is receiving the award
  • A one-of-a-kind art glass award engraved with your organization's name.
  • A feature profile of your organization in MCN's Nonprofit News reaching 12,000 nonprofit managers
  • A cash award (for all recipients except for Responsive Philanthropy awardee)
