Direct Service Program Associate

Listening House of St Paul

Organization Summary:

Listening House has served St. Paul for 34 years, providing hospitality, practical assistance, and guidance to low-income, homeless, or lonely men and women. We are a low-barrier community center offering hospitality and kinship. We recently relocated to the near east side of St. Paul. Some guests served at Listening House suffer with a mental illness or struggle with addiction. Others struggle with poverty and isolation. Professionals in housing, outreach, and behavioral health use Listening House as a satellsite office to meet people in need of special services.

Drop-in services are offered in our "living room" where people come to relax, connect with others, get assistance with basic needs, and get connected to resources. We also offer a men's group, art class, guitar lessons, sewing instruction, and more.
