Primary Duties:

Are you looking to get back into the workforce or would like to get real world experience in a nonprofit setting? Would you like to learn and gain experience using the donor database software Raiser’s Edge? Or perhaps you just want to share your skills and expertise to help others?

If these are your goals we would love to help you achieve them in exchange for your help with projects that will help us achieve our mission of building strong families, vital communities, and better futures for children.
As an intern you will gain knowledge regarding many aspects of The Family Partnership and its partnering organizations. You will be exposed to nonprofit operations, and will gain experience supporting office administration and data management under the mentorship of our staff


The Family Partnership is currently seeking a reliable, accurate and detail oriented intern to aid the Advancement Department with the following duties:

  • Creating and updating database records
  • Creating donor acknowledgement letters
  • Filing and organizing
  • Assisting with mailings and event preparation
Qualifications: Reliable, accurate and detail oriented. Administrative or data entry experience preferred, however training is provided. Raiser’s Edge experience preferred but not required. Experience with Microsoft Office software desired.


Additional Info:

 Time Commitment: Volunteer must be able to commit to 8-10 hours per week for 3-6 months, with flexible hours between 8am - 5pm (Monday - Friday). This position is located at our Lake Street Office at 4123 East Lake Street, Minneapolis, MN
