Job Type: Intern - Unpaid Salary: Unpaid/Volunteer. Willing to work in partnership with colleges/university for class credit if applicable.
Hours: 12 hours/week between 9:00 - 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday. August - November 

Primary Duties:

Assist in planning and execution of the 22st Annual Women Mean Business Luncheon and Marketplace (1,000+ guests). See below for a description of the event. This may include, but is not limited to: assist with event registration in Eventbrite and Microsoft Dynamics CRM; manage sponsor, attendee, and vendor communication efforts, including: guest registration follow up, data management and coordination, and providing logistical information about the event over the phone and via email (direct mail and eblasts); manage and coordinate volunteer help; assist with event promotion via print, email, and social media; Coordinate supplies and décor needs.


 Required Skills: High attention to detail; strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable with making phone calls; Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook); basic knowledge of social media platforms (especially Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn).

Preferred Skills: Prior event planning and/or coordinating experience.

Come prepared to shop in our Marketplace, which features the products and services of over 40 women-owned businesses.
