Primary Duties:

This position is immediately available for a school-based therapist at a middle school (grades 4-8) in South Minneapolis

Major Functions

Clinical Services 

  • Provide mental health services to agency clients in school setting
  • Complete clinical assessments for individuals and families
  • Maintain clinical files and paperwork according to agency standards
  • Keep child data base records up to date
  • Complete required outcome assessments for clients
  • Provide necessary billing information and coordinate with our billing agency


Coordination with schools


  • Maintain close contact with student support staff at the school to coordinate services
  • Assist with trainings requested for school staff
  • Provide care coordination with school staff on regular basis
  • Provide classroom presentations and groups as requested by the school

Provide oversight to graduate students and/or mental health practitioners who provide services at the school

Agency Tasks

  • Attend agency consultation, training, and administrative meetings
  • Participate in community outreach and marketing activities as requested
  • Contribute to realization of agency goals and objectives


Licensed as LP, LMFT, LPCC, or LICSW 

Competence working with diverse populations

Experience providing clinical services to children and families

Capable of working in a team environment

Comfort with a community based approach to clinical services




Additional Info:

Fluency in Spanish would be an asset but is not a requirement.
