Your nonprofit has a mission, a message and a story to tell. With so much competing for our attention these days, how can you ensure that your message is reaching (and resonating with) the people who most need to hear, see and act on it? In this session you'll earn how to engage your most important stakeholders to bolster your marketing and fundraising efforts.

This three-hour, hands-on workshop will look at how to engage audiences in your mission and work, build an effective marketing and fundraising program, and engage your board in your marketing and fundraising priorities. We’ll also talk about the role of campaigns and how to plan for one.

About the Presenters

Linda Keillor BergLinda Keillor Berg has worked in marketing, communications and philanthropy in both the corporate and nonprofit sectors for more than 30 years. She most recently served for 10 years as vice president of advancement for Mitchell Hamline School of Law, and prior to that was vice president of marketing and communications for the University of Minnesota Foundation.

 

Sarah CrumrineSarah Crumrine is the communications coordinator at the Minnesota Council of Nonprofits, where she coordinates print and electronic communications, media relations, and strategic communication implementation. Sarah has a B.A. in journalism with a minor in social justice from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities and is on the board of directors of the Young Nonprofit Professionals Network of the Twin Cities.
