Please join the Minnesota Council of Nonprofits for a Meet and Greet event with MCN’s new Southeast Minnesota regional coordinator, Ann Iijima. MCN’s Southeast chapter, launched in late 2014, provides local activities, initiatives and connections to the resources MCN provides statewide.
Please bring your own lunch; coffee and dessert will be provided.
MCN’s Southeast Minnesota Chapter is comprised of 11-counties including Dodge, Fillmore, Freeborn, Goodhue, Houston, Mower, Olmsted, Rice, Steele, Wabasha and Winona.
The Minnesota Council of Nonprofits has six chapters operating in Northeast, Northwest, Central, West Central, Southeast and South Central/Southwest Minnesota. Each chapter has a calendar of events with local workshops and networking opportunities.
Prior to joining MCN, Ann served as an associate director of alumni relations at Carleton College, a law professor and vice dean of academic programs at William Mitchell College of Law, and a litigation attorney. Ann has served on a number of nonprofit boards, including organizations providing educational, health and legal services. She has a B.A. in biology from Carleton College, a J.D. from the University of Minnesota, and currently is studying luthiery (the craft of making stringed instruments) at Minnesota State College Southeast.
