As an executive director, what do you need to do to lead your organization to build financial health? How can you establish a culture of financial responsibility and accountability amongst your staff and board? This workshop has been created specifically for executive directors of small nonprofits who often function as the key financial manager. Learn to clarify roles and responsibilities; communicate financial information to different stakeholders; and work with auditors, the finance committee, and the board. The session will begin with a review of financial terminology and basic reports. For executive directors only.
Part of Nonprofits Assistance Fund’s Financial Leadership series, helping nonprofit leaders balance financial priorities, adapt to uncertainty, and steer their organizations toward a sustainable future.
The 2012 financial management workshop series is co-sponsored by MCN and Nonprofits Assistance Fund.
