Conference Highlights

Conference Keynote

Join hundreds of nonprofit professionals as we join together to scrutinize the interplay between artificial intelligence, bias and nonprofit leadership. We'll take time to examine questions of leadership in our organizations and communities. How do we fail to see difference – and thereby embed our work with blind spots? How do we fail to hear difference – and thereby silence those who are most in need of a strong voice? And how do we fail to recognize our own biases – and thereby limit our own possibilities as leaders in our organizations and communities? Keynote speaker Camille Eddy will discuss Recognizing Cultural Bias in IT and Communications.

Breakout Sessions

Photo of ParticipantsThere will be something for everyone at this conference, with more than 30 breakout sessions for both beginner and advanced audiences. See the full schedule of breakout sessions. We think you'll agree that these are some dynamic speakers, important topics and interesting discussions. Each time slot has a cache of great speakers. So choose wisely!

Birds of a Feather - Luncheon Discussions

From 12:15-1:15, we'll host various "Birds of a Feather" conversation tables in the luncheon hall. These tables will have placards letting folks know that - if they choose to sit at these tables - there will be a hosted conversation on a specific topic. We hope to host about 12 - 15 of these tables. Are you interested in hosting one? Conversations can cover any number of topics related to nonprofit communications and technology. Be creative and sign up to be a table host!

Choose Your Path - Networking or Learning

Every year we hear that some attendees want more in-depth learning while some attendees want more time for networking. Therefore, you'll notice that not all sessions in the same time slot end at the same time. During each breakout session time slot, session lengths will vary so that you can choose a shorter session (more networking) or a longer session (more learning). Choose the path that's best for you.

Complimentary Headshots

This year, we will be offering professional headshots, courtesy of Scott Streble Photography, at no cost to conference attendees. Spruce up your LinkedIn image, website bio, or blog byline. No longer will you need to use your poorly lit iPhone selfie as your digital first impression!
