MCN strives to ensure this conference is accessible to all nonprofits, regardless of size or ability to pay. Learn more about the various scholarship opportunities and how to apply.

Registration Policies

Registrants (including scholarship recipients) who are unable to attend the conference may substitute someone to attend in their place; please submit the change via email to MCN’s registrar. Cancellations received by March 30 will receive a refund minus a $35 processing fee. No refunds are available after March 30. Additional registration policies are available online.

Accommodation Requests

Plenty of standard and vegetarian meals will be provided, as well as vegan and gluten-free (please, ask a server if you have questions on the day of the conference; individual requests are not necessary ahead of time). A new mother's room and a prayer space will be provided (please check the conference program on-site for details about locations).

MCN strives to ensure that this conference is accessible to all individuals. If you have accommodation requests, such as sign language interpreters or other accessibility requirements, please submit your request during the online registration process or via email at Although we will attempt to meet all accessibility requests, requests submitted after March 30 may not be fulfilled.

Breakout Room Seating Policy

Conference registration guarantees access to a choice of breakout sessions at different times throughout the conference schedule. However, conference registration does not guarantee a seat in any of the individual breakout sessions. Breakout rooms are assigned in advance of the conference. The safety of conference attendees is always a primary concern, and may include closing a room if attendance exceeds the room capacity. We encourage early arrival to the breakout sessions to help ensure that a seat is available.

Traveling to the Conference

The conference will take place at the Earle Brown Heritage Center at 6155 Earle Brown Dr., Brooklyn Center. Please arrive early to ensure you have plenty of time to check-in before sessions begin. Free parking is available in the various surface lots surrounding the Center.

  • If you are coming from northwest of the Twin Cities, please note that the I-94/I-694 eastbound ramp to Shingle Creek Parkway is scheduled to be closed on April 13. Follow the detour signs and expect some delays.
  • If you will be driving through Minneapolis, please note that the Lowry Tunnel will have reduced capacity. Expect delays.
