CARES Act Grant Opportunties and Deadlines by County
Through the CARES Act that was passed in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Minnesota counties (and other local governments) received CARES funding to spend on government services impacted by COVID-19, as well as to distribute to businesses and nonprofits in their communities.
A handful of counties still have open nonprofit CARES grant opportunities - while each is spending their allocations differently, most are distributing funds to cover rent, utilities, PPE, etc., and are giving around $5,000-$10,000. Each county will have specific guidelines, so please follow the individual links for more.
NOTE: A number of these counties are considering doing two rounds of grants, so there may be another opportunity later this fall. Please check individual websites for updated information.
