Central Minnesota

The Minnesota Council of Nonprofits (MCN) maintains regional offices as a means to provide area nonprofits with locally based opportunities to build the sector’s capacity and strengthen its effectiveness. Through its regional presence in Saint Cloud and Central Minnesota, MCN amplifies its mission by working to inform, promote, connect and strengthen individual nonprofits and the nonprofit sector.

MCN's Central Chapter is comprised of 13 counties in the heart of Minnesota: Benton, Chisago, Isanti, Kanabec, Kandiyohi, McLeod, Meeker, Mille Lacs, Pine, Renville, Sherburne, Stearns and Wright.

An Advisory Committee, made up of representatives from area nonprofits, helps set priorities for programs and projects to be offered in the Central Minnesota region, advises the Regional Coordinator on a variety of nonprofit issues and helps to broaden MCN's regional network. Representatives on the committee include area leaders who represent MCN member organizations.

Advisory Committee Roster:
Kelly Doss, Development Director, Assumption Community
James Miller, Executive Director, United Way of West Central Minnesota
Kim Pettman, Nonprofit Leader
Carrie Tripp, Vice President of External Relations, Initiative Foundation
