Mark Buenaflor is the Operations and Database Manager at the Minnesota Council of Nonprofits, which he joined in 2012. Mark supports the internal operations of the organization in St. Paul and the regional offices, playing a role in long-term planning and day-to-day administration of MCN’s technology, facilities, and internal policies and culture. He also works closely with the Executive Director and the Associate Director to support MCN's higher level governance functions and strategies.
Prior to joining MCN, Mark lived in San Francisco and worked as the factory tour coordinator for Meyer Sound in Berkeley, CA, and before that lived in Washington, DC and was the photo office coordinator for The Kennedy Center. He has a bachelor's degree in philosophy from St. Mary’s College of Maryland and a master's degree in library and information science from Kent State University.
Originally from the Philippines, he now lives in Minneapolis with his family. He has a penchant for hats, watches, and tattoos, enjoys video games and the performing arts, and roots fruitlessly for the Washington DC sports teams and Chelsea Football Club.
