Anne Dugan

Anne Dugan is the Northeast Minnesota regional coordinator for the Minnesota Council of Nonprofits, based in Duluth. Through this part time position, Anne provides local activities, initiatives and connections to the resources MCN provides in the Northwest Region of Minnesota.

Anne comes to MCN from the arts and culture sector. Before serving as regional coordinator, she was the director and curator at the Duluth Art Institute where she developed strong community partnerships and internationally recognized exhibitions and programs. She serves as an adjunct faculty in the Art departments of the College of St Scholastica and University of Wisconsin - Superior.

Anne is a graduate of Carleton College and holds a masters in art history and curatorial studies from Columbia University. She owns the organic vegetable “Food Farm” in Wrenshall with her husband, and is the co-founder and organizer of the Free Range Film Festival where she screens independent movies in her big, old barn.
