Ann Iijima

Ann Iijima is the Southeast Minnesota Regional Coordinator for the Minnesota Council of Nonprofits. Based out of Rochester, she works with nonprofits in 11 counties (Dodge, Fillmore, Freeborn, Goodhue, Houston, Mower, Olmsted, Rice, Steele, Wabasha and Winona), providing local activities, initiatives, and connections to MCN resources.

Prior to joining MCN, Ann served as an associate director of alumni relations at Carleton College, a law professor and vice dean of academic programs at William Mitchell College of Law, and a litigation attorney. Ann has served on a number of nonprofit boards, including organizations providing educational, health and legal services. She has a B.A. in biology from Carleton College, a J.D. from the University of Minnesota and currently is studying luthiery (the craft of making stringed instruments) at Minnesota State College Southeast.
